All About Maine Coons!
As implied in the name, the great Maine Coon originated in the coastal state of Maine, USA. There are a variety of different stories that explain their origins. Nonetheless, Maine Coons are a wonderful species of cat. They are recognized as the largest domesticated cat breed, averaging roughly 20 lbs. for adult males. They are extremely beautiful and very well-known for their highly fluffy fur, bushy tails, and gentle behavior. Nicknamed as the gentle giants, they live up to that name. They often
build very strong connections with their owners, becoming extremely affectionate and caring. Love and feed them, and they're a loyal partner for life. They'll run up to you the second you come home, and will sleep next to you, keeping you warm. Of course, every cat is different, but these traits are very common. On top of it all, they have a certain charm you can't find in any other cats, making you instantly fall in love the second you lay your eyes on them.
